You need only two parts of riding equipment. Short or better yet, long chaps and a helmet.
- The chaps are better the thicker leather they're made of. Short chaps protect your legs from being pinched by the saddle belts. It can get so painful you have to stop riding. If you wear high boos, you don't need chaps. Long chaps enable a lot stronger grip on the saddle because leather sticks to leather.
- A helmet must be certified and fixed on few points, and it has to be the right size (if youshake your head, it shouldn't move on your head).
